Group Exercise Classes
Bowers Physical Therapy offers three medically based group exercise classes designed to help you maintain the gains that you achieved while in physical therapy in a fun, supportive group environment. The classes are designed to fit the needs of each and every one of our patients' lifestyles and goals. From injury prevention to balance and strengthening exercises, all classes are taught by one of our certified physical therapists.
Exercise for Arthritis
Offered 2x/wk for 1 hour This class will include exercises to maintain range of motion in your joints, gentle strengthening exercises, and low intensity cardiovascular exercise completed to music. All exercises will be modified as needed to meet a variety of skill levels. Exercise for Balance Offered 2x/wk for 1 hour In this class, you will complete exercises for strength, flexibility, balance and cardiovascular health. All exercises are geared towards providing you with the physical skills you need to remain safe and independent in your home. All exercises will be modified as necessary to meet a variety of skill levels. Exercise for Athletic Injury Prevention Offered 2x/wk for 1 hour In this class, we will combine core strengthening, plyometrics, agility training and portions of the PEP warm up program into a comprehensive class to aid in athletic injury and prevention. |
